# FDM 3D Printing Induction

### The Induction Process

1. Watch the videos (20 minutes total) showing the Safe Operating Procedure for the FDM 3D printers, then pass the associated online quiz
2. Book an in-person exam (duration: 45 minutes)

Once you pass the in-person exam, you will be able to use the FDM 3D printers.

*The **online modules** (videos + quiz) must be **repeated yearly** to maintain your inducted status.*\
*The in-person exam is only required the first time you are inducted.*
