Material is fed into a table-mounted circular saw blade to create straight cuts and grooves. The blade height and angle of the blade to the table can be adjusted.
Or, ask a technician during Open Hoursto operate the machine on your behalf. Bookings take priority.
Mitre Saw
A circular saw blade is controlled to make straight cuts in lengths of clamped material. The blade angle can be adjusted in 2 directions to create mitred and beveled cuts.
A drill bit is loaded and fed at a controlled rotational speed into material mounted to the platform, allowing more precise holes to be made than are practicable using a handheld drill.
Blade height is set and planks of material are fed through the machine to smooth the surface, ensure uniform thickness or reduce the material thickness to a specified height.
Or, ask a technician during Open Hours to operate the machine on your behalf. Bookings take priority.
Router Table
A router bit is loaded and material is guided past the blade to shape its edge, or over the blade to create indentations or openings. Alternately, a portable handheld router can be guided over a fixed workpiece.
